Performance :
Balayya again proved his charisma with his mannerisms and power packed fights. His performance in 2nd half was top notch. Legend is a tailor made for Bala Krishna for sure. At the age of 50 Balakrishna dances are very good and grace in his steps are excellent. Even though he looks odd in first half that too in close up shots he rocked with his performance. Loyalty in his looks added attraction for nanadamuri fans. On whole he Balayya took major part in the success of the movie.
Jagapathi Babu proved his acting capabilities once again. His expressions and change in voice made him a power villain and looks like a hunk.
Radhika apte & Sonali did their jobs neatly.Other characters did as per the limited roles.
Dialogues :
Story is very routine but emotional content & power packed scenes make it a unique line. Dialogues are very good specially in second half.Even though M . Ratnam failed with Dhammu with Boyapati, this time he proved himself.Here are some dialogues for you

Music & Bgm :
Devi gave good music for legend & Bgm's are very energetic. Every elevation scene succeed with Devi's magic.There must be special mention for Devi's Bgm.
Cinematography :
Ram Prasad photography was very good especially there are some down shots & long shots which lookes very unique. Songs picturization was good.
Story - Screenplay - Direction :
Boyapati proved his talent again. With out going to experiment he portrayed the story in default way in another words typical Boyapati style. Even though there are shades of Simha in major part of the second half, movie screenplay was good & racy. His idea of taking Jagapathi babu for negative role is appreciable. On whole his Dhammu failure make him to care much about screenplay. He can't come out of Simha's Hang over but this time its negligible.
Boyapati mark interval & his style of elevation scenes like Train sequence, Horse sequence, MP sequence is very good and goose bumps for fans. Interval is said to be hair raising moment for mass audience. Emotional content are bit weak but worked out with the screenplay. Lot of inspirations are portrayed in some sequences.
